Who We Are & What We Do

Since 1932 the Taconic Hiking Club has sponsored trips throughout the Capital Region and beyond. With offerings in all skill levels, there's something for everyone. As part of our core mission, we maintain and protect the Taconic Crest Trail. Featuring breathtaking views in three states, the Taconic Crest Trail is one of the Northeast's best kept secrets. Whether it is the 30-mile "End-to-End Challenge" or an easy day hike, the TCT has something for everyone.
